A review of the wave propagation can be read in the logbook. How does it come about?

The value ✴/ corresponds to the impression of the listening experience that arises when I listen to and evaluate the recording for the first time. The purpose of the exercise is to better understand medium wave propagation and later to have a comprehensible assessment of the recording stored in the archive.

Should your personal assessment deviate from this: no problem. Already 300 km away from my location it could have looked completely different.

From Tamil Nadu to Rajasthan, from Gujarat to West Bengal, 18 stations from 13 indian states synchronized with All India Radio Network's joint evening program.

While the eastern Asian continent is largely absent, the Indian subcontinent opens up far to the south. The clearly audible signal from Cuddapah, Andhra Pradesh, at 900 kHz - a new DX frequency in Central Europe created by the RAI shutdown - is a first reception. 837 kHz from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh and 765 kHz from Dharwad, Kerala, as well as 1269 kHz from Mathurai, Tamil Nadu round off the good reception conditions of the afternoon. Apart from small blackouts in the last few days, the ionosphere seems to be in good shape.

ALMOST ALL stations heard were identified by parallel reception. The only exception is AIR Rainbow India 594 kHz.

Here are the logs:
