A big surprise happened on March 21, 2024, almost on time for the spring equinox: for the first time in my time as a DXer, I was able to receive a station from Indonesia on medium wave. And the reception was anything but difficult. RRI Pro 4 played from 21:59:45 to 2213z getting weaker with S7 and initially with almost 49 dBm SNR on the K9AY to the northeast. Radio Renascenca can still be heard quietly in the recording. At the beginning of the broadcast, the pause signal followed by a detailed ID was played. A little later a Koran program started.

My Indonesia No. 1 reception on medium wave is one of the beautiful Indonesia logs in the tropical band from the 1970s.
