The first logs of the new year 2023 give a small glimmer of hope. According to my last logbook entry from November 10, 2022, the propagation conditions on medium wave have downright crashed. The few faint signals from Asia, Africa, and the Americas weren't worth the trouble of listening, so they were heard anyway.

A review of the wave propagation can be read in the logbook. How does it come about?
The value ✴/ corresponds to the impression of the listening experience that arises when I listen to and evaluate the recording for the first time. The purpose of the exercise is to better understand medium wave propagation and later to have a comprehensible assessment of the recording stored in the archive.
Should your personal assessment deviate from this: no problem. Already 300 km away from my location it could have looked completely different.
