The remote garden project started in 2016. A DX location was found and a self-sufficient garden were created since from a 600 m² area without any infrastructure connection.
From 2019, the site is fully entertained with solar power, there is unlimited WiFi, and a fully equipped Shack with kitchen, accommodation and separate toilet. The first large antenna is a K9AY on an area of 100 m², followed by 50 m wire antennas and loops with a circumference of 40 m. Largest antenna is a double delta loop with a circumference of 90 m. Receivers are ELAD S2 for Asia DX & S3 for TA DX running on a i7-NUC.

Remarkable: very little European QRM. On most transatlantic frequencies, wide bandwidths could be used for listening.
